Another great video Monroe. The pistol is one of those movements I struggle with and tends to get pushed down toward the bottom of my priority list (like the crossover double under you covered in your last video 🤣) . . . nonetheless, when time and commitment present themselves, it is great to have your content available. Thank you again.

Monroe, sorry for posting this in this video but I do not have any other way to reach out to . . . I was watching Wodapalooza yesterday, specifically, the clean event and the last event with ‘light’ hang power snatches. Something caught my eye. In the hang power snatch event the most efficient athletes were cycling the bar where the bar in a very distinct way. The bar would drop below the hips and simultaneously the upper thigh would INSTANTLY meet bar and, in a split second, the bar would be back up above their head. It was not just with the lighter bar in the snatches but also with the heavy hang cleans. For example, Gui did the same thing with 380llb on bar for his hang clean. The bar just instantly POPPED off the thigh. There is some amazing technique and timing involved in this process that I would like to learn. Do you have a video on this topic?
