But before doing all this it is essential you understand what is blockchain, learn about architecture, consensus, public vs private blockchain, read white paper for both bitcoin and ethereum

Web3 is a solution in search of a problem. Nothing really *needs* to be decentralized. Even if something does, you'd write a handful of smart contracts and the work is done as far as decentralization is concerned. Most of the work you do on a day to day basis as a web3 dev is write backends or frontends, nobody is sitting and writing smart contracts all day for months at a stretch.

Now a days few clgs (newton , scaler)have come up with their 4 year btech programs promising good curriculum and teacher will be industry experts .
