Tysm!!! I’ve been in therapy for years and there’s this belief that a therapist “fixes you” when they really just teach you how to manage your emotions and cope with the parts of yourself that you don’t like or understand. They’re also just really great to vent to and help you realize when you’re being manipulated. (Great for me bc I have an extra hard time telling bc my inability to read certain social cues due to my autism)

When I get angry I tend to stay VERY quiet & isolate myself until I’m okay bc I don’t want to say anything negative to someone else and regret it bc it’s not them, it’s me. I’m getting better at expressing things than I used to. But the bad thing is I’m stuck in my head or constantly writing/rapping it out until I reach the surface again. Quite the rollercoaster.
