Also when testing foundation leave it on for at least 30 min , sometimes they oxidise and change colour, go warmer… so never buy on the day, get a sample if you can too to try another time before you commit

Dear Nina, I will really appreciate a similar video on concealer especially covering dark circles. I have servere dark circles on very very fair skin. Using your guide on how to set concealer on the eyes have helped a lot - but finding the right colour - uh that's a tough one

Love this video. Most of the foundations I get I can't try on. I have to just guess which would look better by looking at the bottle. There have been times when I have even thought that the shade would look good on me and it was actually a bit too light and wished I had gotten a darker shade. Figuring out if I'm more of a neutral or warm shade sometimes gets me as well. I would like to see you do a video like this on concealers. I always have trouble finding a concealer that is close to my skin color. I'm not one for brightening under the eyes.

This is a great tutorial and thank you. My problem is spending money on 2 or 3 shades just to find a good match. Times have changed and you can barely get someone to service you at the makeup counters. Many times its "Oh, what would you like to purchase today"?

I love your videos, and I specifically tried Nars, sheer glow based on your recommendation. I love it, but I got the shade Barcelona and I feel that it’s too yellow on me. I do lean more towards neutral, cool tones. The shade is OK in Barcelona but it’s too yellow. Could you recommend something that is close to that that wouldn’t be as yellow?
