This was such an informative and helpful video! I will probably rewatch and reference for the future. I find pairing shoes with bottoms a more difficult aspect of styling outfits. Especially with all the different hem line and fit options we have nowadays in bottoms. Thank you! I wonder if you’ve done a video with those ankle strap shoes like espadrilles and what bottoms pair well with them. I find those types of shoes tricky to style.

I love this style of wide pants! It is amazing how much shoes can change an outfit from looking quite casual to office appropriate. I personally like the look of wide pants styled with a ballet flat or sling back where you can see the foot a bit, I think it adds some lightness to the look. I think the loafers/boots when they cover the whole foot can look a tad heavy especially because you can't see the full shape of the shoe, just a heavy bit of leather sticking out the front. I also love them styled with an hermes Chypre sandal, but that is quite a trend driven look

Great advice, I love that you show us the differences with all the different lengths and shoes. I have a new pair of straight leg trousers that I need to hem. I'm unsure which length to go for. Do you think a length like in your third example? Or shorter or longer?
