While your advice is good i think you should keep in mind that many people pay attention to youtubers such as yourself and the advice you give, if people do not upgrade their collectors, one way or another it will come back to bit them in the ass because it will affect the economy in the long run. A healthy loot economy means we all benefit, so great video but personally im going to upgrade my collectors as a means to give back.

When I was editing the wiki when BH10 came out, I have to figure out the math on level 10 gem mine and saw how bad the ROI was for any new levels of resource generating buildings, at least Builder Base have free Clock Tower boost to speed up the catch up time. However, after all the stuff from your own base is maxed, I still think it is a kinda act to upgrade them just so everyone generates more loot for other people. Just don't use any magic items on them, and use snacks because they are going to be gone 24 hour later. And here is a counter argument on not upgrading supercharge levels, Clash Ninja posted all of the new temp levels will at 2 months and a bit more to complete with 6 builder, no gold pass, no apprentice so it can be even shorter. We know TH17 is going to be released at the end of the year or early next year, any maxed out player should benefit from the extra stats well enough (like both Single/Multi Inferno got a ~10% boost to damage, that's a huge increase for a temporary upgrade). Remember, they don't get reset unless they get new level, not immediately after a new TH release, we won't get all the new defense levels in just one update as SC wants to stagger the release of content. Some of the supercharge levels might stay for a bit longer, especially the mines, collectors, and drills. We only just got a new level from Freburary this year, and the last new level was 3 years ago, it will have time to catch up. And I heard an anedotes that the generators extra hitpoints at level 3 causes the Queen to 3 shot it in hard mode, even they have more defensive value so that's why the hitpoint increase is the last one it has.

​@@susheelathomas7718 The idea is that since collector's daily amounts are the same as raiding 1 to 2 bases, and they store more of YOUR resources the higher level they are, that by upgrading them you're making it easier for enemies to steal from you. Meanwhile players who didn't realize that, or have already maxed their collectors, are easy targets for loot to us. It's a defense mechanism that's intended to make you harder to steal a lot of money from, while not sacrificing much, since collectors aren't that helpful up at higher TH levels. I'll still upgrade my collectors to max for aesthetics though.

I have a rushed Th16, I have unlocked all the elixir buildings to max, all storages to th15 level, I am using 4 builders on my heroes non stop, and 2 builders on my defenses. I have max level scattershots, spell towers, eagle artillery and monolith. My infernos are level 6 and currently upgrading. All the rest is level one or very low, including the builder huts. Which should be a good order for upgrading the defenses, please?

If you care about defense and wars, you should upgrade everything, including the collectors. It’s a trash building but it has HP, so many of them provide tanking, and guaranteed many people fail every second in this game because the health of the trash buildings. So it’s important for defense, and upgrading it doesn’t make you lose anything, just benefits. Having someone looting your collectors sometimes is not gonna hurt anyone. Think like a payment for having more health in your buildings for protection, and extra resources when you collect them. So literally zero benefits if you don’t upgrade them.

Unbelievable herecy Collectors exist not to produce resources, but to look cool Just try to remember attacking a high base with unupgraded collectors - such bases look like shit just because of those low level collectors Always remember that there is no sense in almost all of the buildings, you upgrade them just to make your base look cool, there are always a man who will 3 star you without a sweat regardless of level of your eagle, cannons, etc

That advice with collectors makes 0 sence . Even if you only get 40% of what it produces 400k a day stacks up a lottt and if you play longer time it can go up to a billion so upgrade them its just more loot . You beeing able to gain 20€ an hour at a job doesnt mean you ignore a a free 10€ a day

I think this thing is gonna affect the game quite soon cause the purpose to loot is to invest it in ur base so those resources whould be gone......so to loot the game should generate enough resources.....and those resources are generated by collecters ,mines, drills and clan wars, cwl and daily bonus, and some from clangames and events etc......and i think how much loot we can get now whould significantly increase the upgrades many bases therefore deleting vast amount of resources and the way the generation of resources occure it probably won't be able to keep up with the consumption of those resources therefore actually ending up decreasing the game's economy or the game will suffer severly because of loot shortage
