Box the santatron in and place a fast travel map so you can travel in and out to the santatron without encountering the enemies every time. The fast travel mat is under misc structures in the building menu within workshops.

I get the feeling the Holiday Scorched got screwed up when they changed things to either drop weapons or junk. Since Holiday Scorched are Legendary and mostly drop weapons they don’t drop the extra junk, which includes the holiday gifts. I hope this isn’t the case though as that means the Treasure Hunters will also be screwed up when that event comes around again.

I do not know the accuracy of this information, but apparently the reason the Holiday Scorched broke was because of the recent enemy drop rework. They are aware of what broke, but it'll take a long time to fix. So sadly no Holiday Scorched this year. The bug is affecting not just the Holiday Scorched, but Spooky as well. It should be fixed by the next time one of the special scorched events rolls around (or at least by next season). But hey, at least they did **something** to alleviate the problem, even if it isn't the ideal solution.

One thing you forgot to cover is that the wrapping paper has a significant amount of weight to it. I was in the middle of doing a gleaming raid and suddenly I was overburdened and I couldn't leave and after dumping everything I could I was still overweight and I could not for the life of me figure out why I was overweight until I went in and saw all that free wrapping paper added like 35 lb

They still could have left the mobs in the game. Was still nice to hear the music for a change, and they still dropped weapons. There was no reason to turn the mobs off.

That high quality for wrap is a pretty spendy item for a gift that doesn't seem to drop something amazing. Maybe it just hasn't happened for me yet. Great update as usual!

I agree with you and the vid. I did buy a couple, and it isn't worth it. Rather have 6 or 7 small gifts for each large. Especially w the 10 free large evry day.

I dunno man, I got a couple of really nice plans from the free high quality paper yesterday. Including the Vintage Water Cooler. Out of the ten high quality presents I opened, only two didn't contain anything special, of the others, seven where plans, and one was the Communist Commander Outfit. But if you buy paper, stick to medium or low quality. The drop rates are slightly lower for the medium, but the difference isn't high enough that the high quality is worth it.

Just a note, the High-Quality crafted gifts from the Atomic Shop yesterday only dropped 30ish contextual ammo instead of the 150ish that usually comes from the High-Quality gifts. At least it did for me.

The new cap collector is definitely worth putting on, even just for everyday play. I ran Eviction Notice solo and ended up with over 500 caps. Taking over workshops yielded another 1500 for 8 workshops. Still miss hunting the holiday scorched though.

Don't forget to sell stuff to the vendor to get the 1400 caps every time it fills. 25% of the caps you spend go back into the inventory when you buy stuff.

With how we know how Bethesda reacts and fixes the game nobody should've even complained about the scorched. Now we don't get barely anything. The scorched were dropping gifts at a decent rate for me so thanks to all the complainers ruining it for everyone

Yep I was also getting plenty of gifts, though it was a lose-lose situation with these people. Bethesda increases the spawn rate for Holiday Scorched, still not enough for them. And if Bethesda were to take the servers offline for an hour to fix the drop rates, they'd just complain about that too. It's like a parent giving their child some candy, but the kid kicks and screams because they didn't get *enough* candy, then the parent says "Well I guess I'm not giving you *any* since you're going to act that way".

(A GLITCH FOUND THIS WEEK IN MY COMMENT HERE)I was doing the private world workshop farming method as soon as the holiday scorched event went live this week(on Xbox One console). I made comments on other channels that spoke out about the scorched not dropping presents to do the private world workshop farming. BUT...am I the only one who is having a random ghost player's BEST CAMP BUILD showing up in your private world? I have had this happen every day so far, and no they are not on my friend's list and they do not show up in the player's list under the social/team tab. I was able to fast travel to this Best Build Camp and it was completely loaded in and I could interact with everything there. Last night the Santatrons I set up seemed to not be collecting presents...or this "ghost" player was robbing my workshops like the Grinch. Since I didn't have them locked and out in the open, I then walled them in with no door and a roof to see if that was going on. Wandered around for about 15 minutes again and when I would store a wall to get inside, they'd have presents again...hhhmmmm

@@davidasimpkins i did the same this year,..have not had all the shops yet max of 9 plus my camp..going to take all of them this weekend and see how that goes LOL didnt have time with work,..i throw in max number of heavy machine gun turrets to protect the santatron,..it works pretty well get the events done without being there having to deal with it,.sometimes kill 1 or 2 enemies staggering around

So I noticed with the new Star plans an issue. So yesterday and today I received the plastiform star color blue plan and right away it said I already knew the plan. I thought that was strange I went into my build mode and I still can't build it. I can't learn the plan and I can't build it. So I submitted a ticket to see what the heck. I'm assuming maybe the other two colors are doing the same thing I don't know. Has anyone else had this issue?

They release this event multiple times each year and there's no reason to take the event down, fix it, re-enable it and have it run off schedule and conflict with other upcoming events. You get 10 gift wrap for doing nothing and if you want more, just buy it from a vendor and grind the caps like you would grind the scorched.

​@ThatOneFalloutGuy use the elder mark and complete the main storyline after that buy the certain armour (best one in the game). After that farm caps by selling stuff in your vendor and buy a fixer plan. After that try and get a good roll and make a stealth commando build. After that just play events and tag enemies to get lots of xp
