How to maxmize your experience with sisterlocks during the beginning stage

I braid and band my hair like I do for showering and go to the pool or ocean. And it doesn't unravel or come out. I like the idea of a swim cap but I can't be bothered. My hair actually locked faster because I was getting it wet in the ocean which has sea salt. I sleep with a satin pillowcase and did low manipulation hairstyles in the beginning. All of your tips were helpful!

This is the most relatable video I’ve seen. I experience the morning scrunchyness and I have to spray way on it to lay it down which makes it so even more frizzier. Lol it makes it look like I didn’t even get a retie at all. Lol that’s has been I’m frustration taking the frizz

Also how besides washing your hair less how did you get rid of the puffy ends? What should I do to avoid them?

Well the puffy ends went away slowly as my hair matured and braiding and banding while washing helped keep everything more compressed.

I used fenty beauty’s C mattemoiselle lipstick to outline my lips then blended/filled the middle in with fenty beauty’s hot chocolate lip gloss. I looked it up they don’t sell that specific lipstick anymore but they have similar brown shades. I got it when her 1st collection dropped years ago 😂.
