At our corporation, we had tons of projects pending, after so many workforces. We are not able to execute projects on time. To figure out what exactly happened, and why productivity suddenly declines. We implemented CleverControl, an employee activity software that enabled our managers to track employee workloads, identify inefficiencies, and provide support and training where necessary. It turns out that every employee is giving their 100% to execute projects, but the workload is too high. As a result, we ended up hiring new employees. Now our company can easily execute complete projects before the deadline. Thanks to employee activity softwares, otherwise we blame our precious employees.

They say they used CleverControl, though I've seen these comments around so I think they're astroturfing. There are other tools for measuring employee productivity/distractions like CurrentWare BrowseReporter (my employer), Teramind, and ActivTrak
