How to measure your head & face

Safety and protection are paramount in kendo - and having a 'men' that fits well is key. However, more often than not, the 'men' is not made for the practitioner and this can cause discomfort around the ears, an impaired line of sight, and the back of the head to protrude past the futon at the back. If you know how to measure your head and face, you are in a much better position to get a 'men' that fits and that provides you with the protection you need.

Great question, Oscar! The way you measure is the same. You simply inform us (when placing your order) that you wear glasses when training, and we will ensure that a small indent is made in the uchiwa to accommodate the frame of the glasses.
