How To Measure Yourself for Simms Waders

I purchased my Guide Classic’s from John over at Madison River Outfitters in January 2022. That summer, they leaked, and I barely used them, as I went on one trip to three rivers, WA for a week. I sent them into Simms for repair for +60.00 I think it was. Two weeks ago, I sent the same pair in from a leak that occurred this past winter, and was given news that the waders are being marked and are in disrepair. My crew and cohort in the PNW invest thousands into the brand including myself. But flushing $500.00 down the drain for a full season’s worth of fishing doesn’t bode well with me and would like some help.

Should you measure with the clothes that you normally wear fishing on or just standard clothing?

Should the shoe size be normal shoe size or wading boot size ie 1 up to accommodate for wading sock?
