EJB, you have such a good way to make your lessons easy. Other YT instructors, even the good ones, seem to hold back key elements needed to really understand the concepts, sort of "I have a secret, but I'm not going to tell you" which ends up frustrating the student, something always seems to be lacking. Your lessons seem more complete, at least for me, so I learn and retain more. Thank you, you have a new fan.

On 7th fret from low E to high E you can remember the word BEAD and add F# for B string Both the E strings will have same notes. I created this trick and use it very much cause 7th fret is practically at center of the neck of any acoustic so you can + or - to whichever fret you want to know the note for

What strings would you recommend for beginners on acoustic guitar

Nothing too heavy, stick to a light gauge string but it really depends on what type of guitar you have. I always say make things easy on yourself, even if they don’t sound the best you can always change them later.🎸
