The thing is: these methods are so silly, and you make such ridiculous, "cringe" associations in your head while doing them, but they work so damn well... They also motivated me to study more, since I'm now remembering more of the things that I study.

Like Muslims memorising the Qur'an do they become better submissive followers.. memory is great but free thinking is better. Being able to perform solve rationally and I'm real life is what separates those that move ahead from those that just remember. Try working with people that spent years at University who got to top marks. They may know or have memorised all the theory but can't put it into practice. That's the key.. Being able to use knowledge

Agree. I hate remember anything that I don't think important including people name. I try to not put it inside my limited space memory. Also hate to acknowledge something that you can easily found using tools. Just learn how it works or how manage it. I have no dream to become dictionary and not proud becoming one. Only the things that really interesting that can fill my mind Really hate when my lecturer try to impose me to remember all latin name of plant meanwhile he him self even got doctoral degree forgot the basic differences of the main project we done. Really hate that moment
