I've been tryna figure out a way to replicate his stereo panning in FL (where he brings in the right channel only) I didn't even think about FL Stereo Shaper lol! That was 1 of the 2 missing pieces i needed, so thank you for this bro Now i only need to figure out exactly how he side chains the kick to 808 I know he trim tool and uses soothe2, but I'm not sure if he sidechains the original kick signal to the Boom channel Or if he's sidechaining the kick signal AFTER all the nls and buss processing Pro tools is a lil different and confusing and i see him duplicating the kick as a send to trigger, but it seems like the original kick signal not the processed signal And I'm wondering if its not going to cause issue still after the processing Or maybe its still triggering after the processing Pro tools is different so I'm not sure if its an effect like the master fade bus or what Do you happen to know? @ITRiBUTEI Thanks for the nice comment. I believe he sidechains the original kick to the boom channel, which would be before any processing.

Ye, I realized this afterward 😂. For clarification, I personally like to have 4 channels dedicated to a group, like instruments, drums, bass, and vocals. I do it this way because I'm summing those channels out, but you can set this up however you like. Then you'd basically create a channel that you can call NLS or something with all the NLS processing and stereo shaping. Then route that channel to another channel you create, which you can call Drums or Bass, which will have the rbass and blackbox processing. And only for the drums, I will then route to another channel called All drums, which will have nothing on it. This is where I send percussion or other sounds that I don't want to go through all the processing.
