Thanks Julie! Some of us have been doing this - mixing/matching etc - but I wasn’t sure if it was ok. What’s happened is that I now feel I have “permission” to carry on & just have fun! Interestingly, with fluid art, there is no tutor or supervisor to go to for advice, guidance, support, encouragement etc so having this tutorial is really helpful. Hugs xx 🎉

I’m wondering, is saturation suggested with each landscape, whether it’s a seascape or landscape or both? In other words, do some specific colors require it and others not? Thanks so much, Julie.

Hello Alice… if I am matching colours to a landscape or seascape picture reference, it’s rare to find a colour that matches straight out of the tube. Colours you have in the foreground are not the same as in the background. If you want to create depth and distance then desaturated colours should be in the distance, more vibrant colours are in the foreground… hope that helps
