I love the bottom 2/3 of the canvas. I don’t understand the dark 1/3. Overall it’s a great pour!!! 👏

Thanks Monica. The top did dry a lot darker that anticipated!

Hi Julie. Cathleen from coz creations told me about you! I have been pouring for 2 years and it has been a very frustrating journey. You well know how expensive the American and Australian products are. I'm so happy to see someone from Britain that I can watch. Your work is really great and I look forward to watching all your videos. Shelley👍☺️

Hello Shelley, lovely Cathleen.... nice to meet you! Always happy to help anytime. Fluid art is frustrating and those of us on KZbin can make it look so easy... it really isn’t. Keep going. If you have any questions just email me hello@julievatcherartist.co.uk

It’s gorgeous Julie! Love all the information you included - it’s really quite helpful :) Your sneak peeks keep peaking my interest and I’m looking forward to seeing what you create next. You mentioned you’ll be using more 10 x 10 canvases... please do tell!

Beautiful!!! Do you varnish your paintings?
@JulieVatcherArtist2 жыл бұрын
I don’t varnish my paintings with liquadex. I don’t like gloss finishes and the PVA pouring medium dries beautifully and glossy. I only give a painting a seal with an archival spray and only once it’s sold. I use a satin spray varnish.

Can I ask, do you varnish sometime after your art work?? Only when we have used the varnish mixed with Amsterdam white etc to get the cells, would the top coat varnish react with the already used varnish. I.e repel?
@JulieVatcherArtist3 жыл бұрын
I varnish some paintings if I feel they need it. I always put an isolation coat on before varnishing. Paintings where I use varnish as a cell activator I only give them a light Spray to seal them. It’s not been a problem. X
