Worst henna. These are actually rejected henna which these manufacturers are purchasing in low cost for their profit. Contact the actual henna supplier ull get the real product. And mix herbs powder according to ur requirement. There results will be much better.

No video of it actually used on hair or before and after? That's because henna cannot fix your hair. It can add color and can mask damage, but damage to the hair shaft is not fixable unless you cut it.

faith cox that’s only true if you are using adulterated henna containing metallic salts, which is terrible for your hair to begin with. Pure, body art quality henna has no reaction to metal. Most women in India have been using henna all of their lives and they regularly mix it with metallic spoons and dye release it in iron containers because iron makes the henna darker. Providing guidance when you don’t have accurate information is dangerous. Pure henna, which are the ground up leaves of a plant, is never going to melt someone’s hair off unless you’ve added something to it!

Hey Dear. Here is my feedback. I have prepared my henna exactly following your instructions. Result is awesome. My hair never felt so amazingly freeze free and soft after henna application. Leave on your hair for 8 hours give or take for best results.use henna only on sunny days when it's not cold, it's actually recommended not to use henna on winter you can use cacao powder in winter but in both cases always make sure to put something warm on the plastic wrap on your head. Any hair mask you use can gives you headaches if you don't warm your skull . use henna twice a month and never wash with shampoo after henna mask.,either water or tea water. After shower use four drops of coconut oil on your hair. Ah almost forgot make sure to brush your hair throughly during shower to get rid of all henna powder stuck in your hair roots. I hope this was helpful. God my hand is aching hhhhhh

Heat does cause dye release in henna, but it causes less dye release than using an acidic liquid. It also results in less intense color that fades faster. Henna that has been dye released with either room temperature acidic liquids, specifically fruit juices, or with amla powder, which is very acidic on its own, provides both superior color and longevity when compared to the color and longevity of heat-activated dye release. Heat-activated henna also demises faster. Dye release in henna activated with boiling hot water begins to demise after only one hour.

The henna she uses in the video, Godrej Nupur Henna with 9 Herbs, already includes amla and the only other thing needed to cause dye release is a liquid. As this is a video to treat dryness in hair with henna, milk is a great liquid, better than water. The amla included in this product alone will cause excellent dye release.

I know this is an old post, but if you want to use henna just for it's benefits without the color, you don't let it sit, not overnight, not for several hours. Mix it and use it right away, and don't leave it on for long - maybe 20 -30 minutes and rinse well. It has to sit to release the dye before it colors, so if you do it before then it won't color it. Also, there are now many shampoos on the market that contain henna that you could try.
