Take a trip to Radcliffe on Trent a company called Harrisons sells lots of reasonably priced baits. Sacks of crumb and pellets .

would you use a fishmeal ground bait in a lake that haven't seen any fishmeal?

This summer I tried one bag (1kg) of fishmeal-based Groundbait it was Dynomite SilverX bream. (I had one laying around and I didn't want it to be collecting dusk). I was fishing that night with two rods, the distances were different but similar in depth. The only noticeable difference was that I caught one tench on it. (I'm not a pro by any chance). What I believe (i spend too much online reading and watching youtube videos about fishing) the biggest difference between them is that non-fishmeal groundbait is active, while fishmeal based do not. (I can't confirm this didn't do a test). Fishmeal also might attract bigger fish as it should be richer in protein.

yeah but in our local competition top champions make special mix from others, and they use champion feeed 3 sorts of them of 800gr and then they have extra 15 more components, like sirup, + sweetener + biscuit, + 2 colour coockie chips, then they have, all stuf of live baits wormrs maggots , bloodworm, ground worm, and they keep it a secret. But in champion ship he catches like 35kg of bream big size, and 2nd place is like 10kg max and 3rd place is like 5kg :D so special team recipies are important especialy when fish concentration is very low.
