How to Mix Psytrance Leads

The simplest way to set the volume of any track is to reduce the volume until you cannot hear it, then you slowly ramp up the volume while you LOOK AWAY from the screen. That way you are only using your ears and not your eyes. When it comes to volume one or two db can make or break your track.

You can also turn all faders down and then mix it one by one by importancy. I did this a few times but lately, I go more with doing it on the fly. But not looking and feeling it is often a good advice :)

I would be interested in your take on reverb in the psytrance context. Like for leads, athmos and drums. I mean ike a more detailed and deeper video. Also i see you using effects on your reverbs/delay chain, intersting stuff.

Never seen someone cut leads at 100hz, see 200+ I know leaving low

I go quite low but it's a bit of a trade-off, if you cut higher you get a cleaner sound but imho you also loose power.

Sure more FX or sound design leads? I don't do a lot of sound design completely from scratch tbh. I usually abuse an existing preset and then shape it to my needs. But built-in audio Fx I use often...
