At 3:10 why did you compressed the 808 , was it not already ? Or is there something else it does ?

I compressed the 808 to control its dynamics and help it sit better in the mix. Even if it’s already compressed, adding a bit more can make it punchier or smoother depending on the track.

i got a question tho,at first i noticed that the volumn level just about -23 at peak,and final it just about -10,when everything goes to limiter the low and high end just changed,they just boost up,do u go back to adjust it or just leave it alone.

That really depends on how drastic the changes are. Lately, I’ve been mixing into a limiter to get a clear idea of how the final result will sound from the beginning something new i been trying.
