Scheps is an absolute mad genius. Every since I've started listening to him my mixes have got 1000000000000x better. Just the rear bus technique he uses with the mono split compression can make a mix sound a million times better about 90% of the time. It's insane how much knowledge this man just gives away for free. We live in a wild time.

That dynamic treatment L/R separately is called tilting. I know some hardware compressors had individual L/R processes where one could activate LINK so it operated equally for L/R. I liked tilting as an idea, but many talked against me that it as audio-wise wrong. I will use tilting next time there is an occasion.
