Every bank and credit union have mobile apps with check deposit capability. Wells Fargo is a for-profit institution and also one of the worst. Credit unions, on the other hand, are not-for-profit for-the-members-by-the-members institutions. Everyone is qualified to be a part of a credit union. I think it's baffling how many people still conduct their basic banking needs with Wells Fargo and other banks.

i live an hour away frm a wellsfargo and the mobile app says for checks limit is 5000 daily and 15000 deposit size or somthing like that is there any other way to deposit a check higher than the limit daily and monthly i have a check that needs depsit

Playing Devil's Advocate: suppose someone repeatedly stole my blank checks, forged my name, and then scanned them in to their Wells Fargo account. Wells Fargo has nothing to protect the consumer (myself, for example). There's no word I could write in invisible ink, for example, on each of my checks, so that the app would reject them. The Wells Fargo app is NOT great. It makes it too easy for someone to make a deposit and not get near a real bank. Any thoughts from "The Stuff I Use Channel" guy would be appreciated. I suppose that I could write my entire check on a blank piece of paper, but even though that would still be legal, I know that some important places would refuse to honor it.

No, the bank does not charge you. As long as you have an account with them, you can deposit any checks from any bank here in the US on your phone, all you need to do is sign the back of the check, then put deposit on wells Fargo bank only. Then follow these steps given on this video
