So I’m still a little confused how to install each mod…how do you paste each one without erasing the other?

@daniellesnyder1244 You just extract each one and add it to your MODS folder you can add multiples without erasing them. Try following the example i used all the links are in the description. then follow those same steps for the other mods

My MacBook isn’t letting me extract files, somehow. SMAPI insists that it’s open and that I can run it through steam, but it isn’t uploading any other mods

@wickwoodthewanderer9187 It should be automatic for extracting Just right click - Open with - Archive utility and run it through the StardewmoddingAPI ..Sorry for delay i was out of town ☺

Gonna try this, last time when I used my old computer, it didn’t really work. Question, can you run the SMAPI using the regular Stardew Valley on steam? Like if you change the file path a little (unsure if this was in the video, if it was, please tell me the time frame) Edit: Im guessing its the Launch options on steam when you go to properties?

@phoenixfly_ Hi yes it is in the video (chapter called 1:23 Connect Smapi and Steam) I have what you need to paste in the description, add that to launch option so when you run the game it will know to launch the Mods folder

Last time I did this on my old PC, I only put in the location to the area it was in without the command part, did that mistake again when I did this but since it didn’t work, I tried it with the command part and it worked! Now I have 57 stardew mods installed-

Hey, I'm playing on macbook and when i try to open the Mac version to install smapi, i get a message from the 'terminal' app saying "The file 'Install on macOS.command' could not be executed because you do not own the necessary access privileges." I don't know if any fellow Macbook users have the same problem or if they found a solution to it but i would really appreciate some help, thank you!

@itwasntme471 I think that happened to me as well. I just did it three times and the last time it asked if i wanted to run it anyway. Try that if not there is a step by step in the description to be able to grant it permissions. Hope you can get it done!
