What was the thickness of the Eva foam used and do you know the depth of the cavities that the Eva foam filled?, I don't want any space for the springs to ping off.

The specifications of the Eva foam were A4 21x30 cm, Thickness 2 mm. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the depth of the cavities was, but this was a razer huntsman mini, so you might be able to find the specs online. I hope that helps.

how did the lube on the switches affect the optical lasers? where you getting switch activation prematurely?

Also after lubing the switches did it get rid of the ping? Like completely or is it still slightly left or did the ping just stay as it was

I cant say it got rid of it completely but it does sound wayyyy better. It doesnt have that annoying tinny sound anymore.

It isn't necessary but adds some extra sound insulation

I haven't had any issues at all with the method I used for lubing the switches. My keyboard is working perfectly fine. I hope that helps

Just lube the metal things on the side and so the lube shouldn't get in the way of the laser.

@@goldythefish36 that does nothing but prevent the rattle of them. There is no proper way to lube the standard optical switches because they don’t come apart without breaking.

@@frostgodx interesting from some videos that I watched it seemed to help but yes I've heard that you can't take them apart. I won't argue it because I'm not knowledgeable on it but just letting you know from what I've heard. I'll try it myself and see if it does make a difference but that's later and if you're interested I can link the two videos that recommend it.

Unscrew the back and remove the keys with a key remover (or manually if you dont have one)

i can’t find a screw driver that fits. Is there any other option ?

@@TotenV2 Oh I see, I kind of had a similar issue. I used a rubberband over the screw to get some traction whilst unscrewing it. Try that it works suprisingly well.
