Great video sir. Your video has really helped me. But I wish to ask that if I allow the column nodes that I used to draw the shearwalls is it wrong idea. Since it will create strong ends on the shearwalls. Thanks

It’s not a wrong idea, but since shear wall is a long column we can just leave it

If the shear wall has to resist wind loads, should we provide a rigid diaphragm floor to transfer the wind loads to the shear wall?

@@Lanreolokunola Thank you so much sir for yo replying: the information is as follows: Staad.Pro Advanced connected edition Ver. 22.00.0015 RCDC connected edition Ver. 8.0.0.16 RCDC is working fine for all structural elements except shear wall. I did many models and I failed in exporting shear wall. I followed your procedure step by step and I did not obtain anything about shear wall. Kind regards Raad

RCD request a limit to crack width but when I insert it As 0.2 to 0.3 mm the structure fails If I ignore it the str is ok.. Yor comment sir
