Im trying to swap a 2zzge 2001 celica in my matrix 2005 the engine swap is easy but the harness is a pain in the ass

What harness are you trying to use? Your Matrix harness should be fairly simple just have to add lift and oil pressure and possibly change the 01 Celica knock sensor for a 03 and up. Have you looked into getting a xrs harness?

Are you in the states? If you have a usdm model you shouldn’t have to mess with that. What engine harness and chassis harness are you trying to install? Please don’t t say Celica.
