Good job. I like that you checked the size of your nuts before you screwed all the way in. The fact that you were able to maintain proper depth while doing so was a bonus. Backing out early, like you did, and reassessing is just part of the overall enjoyment of mounting. Excellent job Man at Work.

Thank you! It was also pertinent to verify that once mounted, it could receive a full load from 3 different positions. Though the grip of the vise may be limited, it is good to know that the mount can continue if I move on to equipment with better clamping integrity.
