As long as the ball has a 1-1/2” diameter, it should work.

i have an idea. you could make it like a contest thing or if no one participates you can just do mine :) have people submit pictures of their drums and specs, then make a video of alternate ways to achieve their setup. say for instance im on a rack, show me how to get the same placements with as few a stands as possible, or vise versa. it could be cool..

Will the Tama ball arm fit in there i have an 80 s swingstar kit at has the ball arm for toms but i hate them in the base drum because the toms are to big to keep them almost level i have to keep a big angle on them and i hate playing on an angled drum i like them to be almost flat

I am needing to mount two big drums HIGH up and the Ludwig Atlas stand just does not go high enough. All the tom stands I find only have the ONE extension besides the base of the tripod....I need the tom stand to have a triple extension to mount the drums above the high hat. HELP!!!

breedsauce101 unfortunately we don't have any tom stands with a triple extender. What you could do is use a tall rack bar with a large T leg to be the tom stand base, then mount the tom mount inside the rack bar. You will need to connect the the rack bar to your hi hat stand to stabilize it. If you did it this way, you can place the toms as hi as you want.
