I really appreciate this video of 'regular people' (like me) moving a treadmill! I'm in the market to buy a used one and have been blown off by sellers when I tell them my husband and I will purchase and transport to our suv. Most have insisted we must hire professionals! Wow! Good job, you two! I didn't think that was possible until this video. I actually got the same brand and model treadmill as you, but my husband and I couldn't get it in the house (too weak to lift). But then again, we didn't have those lifting straps. In the end, we asked our neighbors and got 4 guys to move it. But next time, we'll try your approach! Nice to see it's possible with 2 people.

However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

We have a Sole F63 to move down the stairs into the basement. Probably use a piece of plywood to slide it down the stairs????

I know - we had it pretty easy with just a few stairs. I think you need at least 2 big, strong guys or 4 average people that know it's a big job :( I wish I had a better solution for full flights of stairs!

I reached out to SOLE and asked about the weight... this was the reply, "If you took it out in pieces the heaviest piece is the already assembled deck which is about 150 lbs." That seems light compared to what I saw you go through. Can I get your thoughts on that?

@@gieselman Okay, so that is not true. I work out on a regular basis and I can actually CURL 100 lbs. So with two of us NOT doing a curl, there's no way this is anywhere near 150 lbs. My research told me the machine weighs 300 lbs and the side arms and upper can't weigh more than about 50lbs maximum. If I had to guess, it would be even less than 50 lbs. I wish I had better news!

@@gieselman Well, yes, I'll give you my thoughts! The unit you see on the dolly (the entire base and motor) weighed 300 lbs! We actually did weigh it with a steel bathroom scale that had a 400 lb. capacity, but we didn't record that on video - didn't think it was terribly interesting (I didn't mention that in my last reply. I only mentioned that online research told me it was 300 lbs - which is also true). The only other pieces were 2 light arms made of aluminum, and the information panel which is all plastic with some electronics - very light. I'm curious what the 150 lb. piece would be that SOLE is talking about in your comment! Anyway, that's my thought on the matter. I can tell you with 100% certainty that the unit you see me moving was almost exactly 300 lbs and did not weigh 150 lbs. I'm not sure that's the answer you want, but perhaps there's a way (that I didn't find) to detach the motor unit from the running bed/belt! Maybe?

I'm having trouble lowering the arm handles to my height. I have to raise my neck to look at the screen moniter, it's over me. Anyway on how I can fix that?

Every machine is different - the best way to get higher is to increase your incline (so you're running uphill) but then turn resistance and speed way down so you don't work too hard. That's all I've got! Sorry.

Does this include the upper part of the treadmill, or is that part separate?

Yes, the upper is separate. Only the belt, linkage and motor is what we moved.

How do u get it in and out of s truck bed

Good question! It was in a large, flat box which was loaded into the truck by the staff of the retail shop. Because iIt was so heavy and we have a rubberized truck bed liner - it didn't move a single inch during a 20-minute drive on the highway and city driving, turning corners, going up and down hills, etc. Our tailgate was open since we drive a Chevy Avalanche with a short bed. At home, we just opened the box and slid out the unit you see on the dolly at the start of the video. It slid out easily since it's covered with a slippery clear plastic. The box still didn't move since it was cardboard on a sticky rubber bed liner. Hope that helps!
