I can´t even begin to explain how I love these videos of yours. The way you talk to us, as if we were your friends is really extraordinary :) you are, by all means, the best coach I´ve seen on youtube or anywhere else :) thank you. P.S. a funny story happened to me thanks to your british accent lessons - I´ve been practicing it for some time now and the other day I was "accused" of being British :) so thank you for that as well :)

I have been sitting and standing up for an hour now and working on my personal planet. I think this can come in handy in everyday life, and besides that, I think you are marvelous!

Learning from you my virtual friend.... Finally saw you moving from head to toe. You can make your own creative series and put on Netflix
@NewYorkActingCoach4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for kind words. Future shows already planned, and main one has to be performed on the stage first, so no chance of Netflix showing the kind of interest I'd want until end of the year. But working on it. What else is there worth doing! John Windsor-Cunningham (see MadEnglishman.com video number '7')

Thank you for another informative, entertaining, and thought-provoking tutorial. I particularly enjoy your sense of humour. The more I watch your videos the more I understand acting as a state of “being” for lack of a better word. I’m reminded of Neo the protagonist of the American action film The Matrix. His character could access a myriad of skills as the situation demanded and seems some actors can call up whatever state of being or mindset that’s required. Thank you for sharing so freely what is a treasure chest of knowledge and experience.

Thanks for kind words. Better to come soon hopefully. And decent of you notice I've got any humour left. Laughing about almost anything, even poor old stupid King Lear and Shakespeare's early invention of Cameron Kemper in Macbeth, have their funny sides or we wouldn't be able to put up with them. Lear a terrible man and he's meant to be the hero of the play! And - being a man - I rather feel Macbeth does what his wife tells him to do, (and some witches he liked the look of. Anyway 'best back to you'. John Windsor-Cunningham

Thank you so much for this video! Up till now the videos I’ve seen has been about vocal expression, and at last I get a bite of ”meat” to carry the spirit, so to say. I was laughing my arse off watching your polish nobleman character showing off his personal dust-planet. It was hilarious, and encourageing in an odd way.

Not necessarily. I was in a production where the lead was a black man playing the part of a middle class Italian man. It was great and well received !
