I wouldn't recommend a KITAS - it comes with tax liability which agents often forget to mention and taxes in Indonesia are on global income and they are up to 35% (quite high!). Regarding the driving license, it is actually illegal to drive without it and it can big fine + 4-6 months in prison. Yes, police it is not everywhere, but I don't think it is worth the risk! Of course, your life is more important, horrible accidents happen constantly (I have lived in Bali for more than 4 years). Also in the airport when you arrive if you notice a plastic tag on your bag - that's how they flag you for inspection.

Bali used to be good, cheaper, quieter, less traffic, more rustic, now that old charm is ruined with tourism, old buildings are pulled down replaced with a modern look. But the pros about tourism is that the quality and standard got better, unless you still enjoy dining under oil lamps eating frogs legs wild caught behind the kitchen. And the old airport looked like an old bus terminal 😂

If you stay more than 183 days in Indo you are legally a tax resident, so you will pay taxes both in your country and in Indo. But to pay taxes in indo you need to get a tax id, which many people don't so they don't pay. It is not legal but it is a loophole. Also the visa agents don't tell the full truth about paperwork after the visa is done and tax liability, so many people don't research themselves and stay for years paying nothing. Indo does have tax treaties with some countries but it doesn't mean you only pay taxes in one, it only means you will get tax credit from one country to cover a portion of the other country's tax return. Plus, Indo taxes global income. All global income. If you need an advice on that, it is best to talk to a tax advisor in Bali (not visa agent, they are not qualified for this). I used SAS firm for my tax returns for the past 2 years. To file on your own is quite complex if you don't speak Indonesian. But no need to open a company if you're just an individual. Foreign companies in Indo is a hot mess of paperwork and rules. Hope that helps. They have recently introduced a DN visa but it is still unclear what's with taxes on that one.

Bro. First of all, I'm in Bali right now, and it is the most overrated place on Earth. It's basically India, with better weather and better behaved locals. The Indonesian people are amazing. The BULE are ridiculous. Pretending to be rich, living in mansions, made of straw, eating pizza and smoothie bowls delivered by slaves. Too much hype. Make a "street interview" video. Talk to bule sitting in endless traffic, and ask them how they like Bali? Make a video on how to get a Bali girlfriend. That girl was your channel hook. You need a new hook. Ask Bali girls out on camera. People love that shit. The women here are so much more friendly and kind than Western women. There's a cute girl working in every restaurant. Get one. Save your channel.

Hey, I've gotta be honest, your post schedule's been always inconsistent, man. I mean, hearing 'see you next week' in every single vlog was starting to get a bit old, haha. Life throws curveballs, no doubt, but it wouldn't hurt to give us a heads up on changes. I've noticed the shift away from vlogs since you're flying solo, feels more like you’re just giving tips to your viewers, and so much less fun to watch and it's kinda frustrating seeing those same old videos pop up in every one of your posts. Just a friendly tip, maybe chill a bit with the talking. Cheers! 🍻
