eResidency in estonia doesn't give any rights to reside in the country. It is usually a bad deal for most ppl

The requirements to sponsor your own work visa are quite different than to get an e-residency. One basically does not have much to do with the other. E-residency is only for those who are not planning to live in Estonia. To reside in Estonia based in owning a company you need to invest a significant amount of money and have a solid business plan.

if you need a visa to enter Estonia in the first place, you should enter with work related visa to change for a residence permit based on working.
