How to Mow Extremely STEEP Slopes with the VENTRAC 4520

We put the Ventrac to the test on the steep bank of our farm pond....and it stuck to that slope like glue! The quad tires definitely help, the Ventracs are great but I’m sure the Pucker factor kicks in sometimes 😉😂. Have a great weekend 🙂🙋🏼‍♂️👍🏻

It's pretty steep on that bank but I feel like someone more experienced on the machine might have no problem finishing the pass that I backed out on!! This is a great video, Brad! Man, that thing is a beast on slopes. I bet it really takes some getting used to riding at that angle. I’d love to try that out!

Thanks, Lucas. Yes and Yes....and to add to it, it articulates in the middle, so it handles differently than a standard tractor. I pushed it as far as I dared on that one pass! 😨 B&D

I first saw one of those about a year ago and I thought it was pretty cool. It does an awesome jobs on the slopes but I'd probably fall off. LOL I put add-on arm rests on my Cub just to stay in the seat!

It never looks as steep on camera as it really is Deb. I have some really steep mowing to do do. I had a guy that all but insisted that he demo a zero turn for me. I would have nothing to do with it. I assured him that he would flip it over backwards and I didn't want to have to be the one to tell his wife that she was a widow.

The problem with Zero Turns on a slope is that the front two casters will fall down the incline even if you want them to go straight across. That's a problem!! Thanks for watching, Gary. B&D
