@JoseFPepeM Thanks Jose! Didn’t the 1k take the best parts of all the MP’s and combine them into one classic machine!? Lazy Larry is sitting on a 60+ minute beat tape…. Probably will be ready to drop July.

the only MPC 1k drawback is the sequence copy feature. i.e: if I want to copy a bar, let's say: bar 80 to bar 100 on track 2, after it copies it returns to the main screen and resets the sequence to bar 0. so if I want to copy another bar, I have to enter the copy screen again and set the whole thing again. it should stay on the copy screen until the main screen button is pressed.

Great job! exactly what I was looking for gasping a MPC 1000 for quite a while and a think you just convinced me to finally buy one… Somehow the MPC 1000 seems to sounds right of the bat way beefier than my results I am getting in a DAW even with mixing

Seems really pretty straight forward, no button combos to learn and actually everything clearly pointed out on screen. As a person struggling with MPC 2 software (using a MPC studio black) would getting a MPC1000 help? Still somewhat new to making beats in terms of the MPC so not sure if I just need to spend more time learning the MPC in general or I should find something with a better workflow for my style

I've never used the newer MPC/DAW type of setups, but they're probably not too far different from the workflow of the older all hardware units like the 1000. I'd say definitely find gear that inspires you so that you willingly spend hours and hours every day on it -- that's how you know it's the right setup!

I notice when I have the MPC on a more solid desk or on the floor I don't get the double triggering.. I've messed with sensitivity and pad settings, but I think it's a weird anomaly with vibration 👁‍🗨👁‍🗨

Just got the 1000 but im having some funky issues with it,its got the fatpad upgrade but the sensitivity is low.Could you break down how to increase it for me please. Also the thing seems a little glitchy,not sure if its because I have the free jjos or its just a brick mpc,any tips would be most appreciated..Cool video BTW make more brother.

I had issues with fat pads double triggering at first. Two things that helped: Playing style like how you're hitting, and being on a sturdy desk that doesn't rattle or bounce... Also check this link for setting pad sensitivity on JJOS.. I have a few pads adjusted and applied a different Curve setting www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/padsenc_e.htm Make sure to switch back and forth between full level and off after you adjust to see what's going on. Hope this helps

How to do save my mpc 1000 song to mp3? How do I link MPC 1000 to computer DAW? If possible, I would like to message and ask for some guidance. I've had my MPC 1000 since 2018 and haven't utilized it as much as I would like to. I have trouble figuring out the connections and little things. I was considering selling my MPC 1000 to get a MPC One.

you should search www.mpc-forums.com for anything you would like to learn about, then repeat all the processes over and over to make it work for you. There are ways to convert your song or sequence to wav, but i personally always skip that "bounce" inside of the mpc. Instead, I connect the 6 individual analog outputs to a tape machine or multitrack recorder. You can also just use the stereo outs plugged into an interface, then into your DAW of choice... Even without syncing the mpc to your computer, you can manually set bpm and edit away. I'm not familiar with the MPC One, but it may be a bit more user friendly if you find the older mp's to be challenging.

Same era, 4000 has internal drive, more outputs, more q-link, but looks goofy af the 1k takes up less than half the desk space and still does it all
