Delightful treat to get a notification from you. Hopefully there will be plenty more before summer is through. We're in the depths of a very wet winter here in Tasmania, but strangely, apart from occasional frosts, it is the warmest winter I've ever had here.

Ah thank you. It’s a funny year for the climate everywhere I think. Mercifully we are not experiencing the heatwave that is affecting the rest of Europe - in fact it’s now unseasonably wet and cool due to the position of the jet stream..

I’ve got some wood clippings and I was a bit reluctant to use then on my flower beds, but now I’m going to give it a go. Thank you Flora brilliant advice as always.👍🏼

Go for it! The longer you leave your wood chip to decompose, the better it will be round your flowers.
