Still on Garageband, but this is another selling point for Logic. I'm often trying out parts of the song with and without certain regions, and right now I have to switch them off by hand, which is a real pain. I can see where this would be a real help in the creative process.

I didn’t know that! This is a great tip Colin. I will be using this a lot. I usually record a lot of tracks, especially guitars. Often during mixing, I find I want to add more midi instruments to fill out some sections. This will be very valuable in trying to clean up mixes and arrangements that I overload. I love to see what I can drop and not change the nature of the song. It also will help evaluate what can be muted or brought out in different sections of the song to add interest. Thank you. Love this series. Can’t wait to get your thoughts on the new Mastering Assistant.
