Worked perfectly! I don't have a cordless model, but had the same button configuration on my chefman. Holding these two buttons as shown got me a confirmation mute message! Thank you so much beeping was driving me insane!

IF YOU'RE HAVING TROUBLE - It took me a few tries because it would just keep going between sleep mode and the white light on mode. What finally worked for me is I started holding the "down" button a split second before holding down the start/stop button. Then after about 4-5 seconds it said "Mute". So try pressing the down arrow just before the other one.

First, thank you for the post. I am tired of the beep and want to turn it off. Unfortunately this instruction did not work for my kettle. I have the exact same part numbers as you but my production date is earlier than the one shown here. My guess is chefman made a software update and sneaked that through under the same part number. Production date is on the bottom right of the label. My number was lower that the post making me assume my kettle was older.

I think there is only way to do it . Once boiled press start/stop until white light /stand by mode / sleep mode or unplug
