With this technique we can easily create an awesome guitar solo with a major sound! Not with scales! But creating movement to the triad shapes. You will start using the notes in the chords as you create a guitar solo with that major sound. Using this technique you will sound melodic and very major. I will bring you in for a slow detailed breakdown with diagrams. You can NAIL an awesome guitar solo with a major sound if you follow these simple steps. This is an intermediate guitar solo lesson but a beginner will gain some knowledge from this guitar lesson. You will start sounding more advanced when using these simple techniques. Also you can use this major move over any major chord!!! Hope you have fun with this. Let me know how challenging this major concept is for you . Happy Jamming Everyone!!! 👌

Again.......Rusty is the "Three Bears" guitar instructor..........although I still maintain his lessons on complete solos (like the B minor lesson) are Rusty's finest, getting solo or rhythm bite-sized or just enough lessons really make the most impact! We don't need to be overwhelmed; we need just enough to get us on that right path to expand our own playing whilst retaining what we've been taught! Jim C.

I relate to this lesson in a way similar to learning math. We first started with a number line as most old schoolers were taught. Ha ha...Then we were taught to put those numbers to use in various ways as you build your skills. The basic numbers here are simply the notes in a chord. And are found again in triad shape as you point out. I like how you imply (and show) movement from the basic chord to the triad area with the slides, etc.. The movements you show are like formulas in math that can be used with any chord! Thank you Sir! I like it. 👍😎

@@rustysguitar1 Thanks Rusty. Just caught a minute of the video. My hand was cut to the bone when I was 14. A kid came out of nowhere with a knife and went for my throat. Didn't have time to wrap my arms with my shirt so it was a clean cut. Tendons, nerves and the artery. Happened right in front of my house and luckily my father was there. Surgeon told me if the bleeding wasn't slowed, 4 minutes I would have bled out. Needless to say, my hand was never the same. I worked with it my whole life so people manage. I'm missing a tendon on the ring finger off my right hand. They used it to sew into my thumb so I could have some use of it. Sorry about the rant Rusty. I'm glad you mentioned the pick !! I'll never be a great folk guitarist!! Lol Take care pal ! I've been going through some tough times loosing my mother and have been caring for my 94yr old father. Hey rusty. How have you been. I haven't been on the channel lately due to my mental illness. I suffer with bipolar & depression so there is periods I cant motivate myself to learn when I want to. It affects me alot. I'll still play almost everyday. On good days my highs are high and on bad days my lows are extremely low its sucks because I'm always told how good of a guitar player I am and that i should play 24 7 until i make it but this mental illness stops me from all that. P.s. sorry to ramble but wanted to know why I'm here for months at a time and why I'm gone for months at a time

Hey Shane. Just to let you know there’s at least one other old guy who can relate to your situation. I too try to learn more guitar to bring me up. Like you sometimes it doesn’t work. I guess I am in a “no hope” stage right now. I am using Rusty’s teaching to try to stay in reality. We’ll see. Good luck in your efforts!
