Great question! It really depends on where you are in the world and the amount of gigs out there in your area. From my experience, the more people know you, your abilities and your professional etiquette (assuming those are all positive) the more you'll get calls for auditions and gigs. There are also websites made for musicians looking for other musicians. Could always try those as well. Hope that helps.
