Thanks for the heads up but from my experience and research, the interviewers wants you to be honest because they're mostly psychologists and may have informations you may not know they have. For instance, if you have siblings in that particular country and you were asked if you have, the answer is yes. If you say no and they check and you have, it may hinder your chances of getting your study Visa. Having a sibling over there doesn't mean you are going for a family reunion except you haven't convinced them why you're going to that country, that's why that question doesn't come first or fourth, it usually comes at the end.

Ok thank you. I have a sister currently in Germany and she's wrapping up her master's degree. She plans on returning home as soon as she's done with her thesis. Will it be wise for me to mention that, if they ask me if I have a sibling in Germany?

@@n.g.6442 Yes it's wise to mention it only if you're asked. I would answer that question like this, " I have a sister who's studying in Rhine waal university of applied sciences, Kleve. " Questions may follow up from that answer such as, what's her course of study, how long has she been there etc... which state just like that. There's already a form you would have filled that has her information as your sibling so the best is always to be honest and brief when answering them. I was asked those questions and was given a short exam

@@n.g.6442 Your motivation letter is centered around you, your course of study, the reason for choosing Germany and that particular university and it's importance to your career and the help of your country's development as a whole. They will ask you why not do this course in Nigeria, why Germany for instance, so such response should be stated in your letter. Then again, prepare for an exam of your course of study as they may set an exam for you there just like they did with me and some others. The exact address of your university, the city, the system of government practice in Germany, names of country and university's leaders should be handy too because they may ask you randomly, I was asked. When is your appointment?

At what time did they ask you for your health insurance? And how much did you pay for it

When the visa application was approved I got an email to send my passport and travel health insurance, for the health insurance which you use during enrollment you submit along with other documents on the day of your interview.

i don't understand the areas of test question been ans is it that doing the interview you were giving test to write as regards to your field

Yeah exactly for example am in the mgt field so I had to answer questions in economics and management just basic questions.

Yes as a student you are allowed to work for a certain period of hours so you don’t need to mention it…and if you need to extend your visa or resident permit just tender the required documents for extension.
