If you're trading with one contract then just divide you PnL(before commissions) by 20, since one point on NQ is $20, if you traded 2 contracts then divide by 40 and so on. So if I made $360 one day before commissions on one contract, that'd be +18 points. (Gonna pin this since I get asked this question a lot lol)

Hey, great video! Thanks for sharing it! I have a question about setting up a $500 stop loss in the ATM settings. If I input $500 as the SL and then manually place the stop loss on the chart, how does it work exactly? Will the system automatically adjust the number of contracts to match the $500 risk? And what happens if the manually placed stop loss slightly exceeds or falls short of the $500-will it still maintain the risk management correctly?

Great Video mate. I'm just learning how to trade futures and to use tradovate and this video def helps. 2 questions for you: 1) Is the simulation (Demo) account free or do we need to fund into the live account first to get access to use it permanently? 2) You showed 2 demo accounts. How do we get that to test the trade copier and other functionality? I only see an option to add another live trading sub-account but no option to add another demo account.

Is Elite Trader doing live "SIM" accounts or live real money accounts? I don't see anything on their website indicating one or the other, and no mention of having to pay the exchange fees for data as a "professional," once you pass an evaluation. So... SIM?

They start you off on a live sim account once you pass, and if you show consistent profitability on that account for a period of time they send you an email with instructions on how to move on to a real live money account.
