Good info. Last night I played this for the first time and it was quite challenging to navigate (but in a satisfying way). I like how you split up a journey into multiple parts. I was using the ruler doohicky for longer journeys and was too focused on exact degrees on the compass. One landmark you could have used in your example are the power lines which are also shown on the map. You crossed several of them.

Hey my protractor doesnt move but i have a dagr that works so if i can kinda guess how far stuff is, can i guess an objects grid using my grid? What i mean is, is this game visually kinda accurate as far aa distances lining up with the world youre in? I can get my own grid, should thay be enough to spot things within 250 meters and guess what the numbers are?

The game is accurate within map scale so assuming that the dagr your using uses the same map then you should be good i will add that if you are talking about gmlars then fortunately we don't need to do that, if your attempting a range find then yeah you can however make sure to always have a deviation margin etc etc i hope this helps and be sure to reach out again if you need more help!!
