First of a series of needle felting instructional videos. I am sure there is more than one effective way to build an armature - this is my method. This segment focuses on armatures for sculptures under 6".

Howdy Mrs Sara - you are the proverbial bomb -- you, yes, you have so inspired me, and I've grabbed wool from my local stores-not great choices-guess I have to order some. I've made a small penguin, and Mr. Dusty (7") he's wearing a jacket, a stetson, a simple one, and a leather gun holster with leather boots -- now, since I've always had a fascination with apes - guess what I'm making next...I'm already starting over; forgot his fingers/toes and he needs to be bigger! I keep referring back to only your videos for much needed guidance - thanks for the wonderful videos, really! ... mmm, sorry, I'm afraid I find Milo, distracting...he's too close to you too, can't he stand with the camera, quietly...sorry only my 2cents - thanks for the great videos!

Have you ever combined needle felting with clay in one of your sculptures?
@geomanko4142 Жыл бұрын
I’ve considered using multi media with felting as well. Did you ever end up trying it with the clay?
@narfcat4262 Жыл бұрын
@@geomanko4142 never got around to it.

@@narfcat4262 i noticed if you set up a little station for yourself, it’s easier to start. & once you start it’s difficult to stop! before you know it you’ve made something.
