This is great. I've had it done on me and I've seen it done, and yet I'm still unsure I ever want to needle it. Just seeing it done again is a good way to maybe stop worrying about it. Thanks !

Thank you 😊. I have not needled that one yet on a Paitent. I have on myself 😅. Was not to bad. I do UB2 and Ying Tang on Paitents often .. never been brave enough for this one yet 😅. Thanks for the encouragement 🙏

Welcome! Definitely go for it when appropriate with your patients. It's the best point!

This is great! You are fit and have positive energy. I can see that you are living a healthy lifestyle through your figure and skin. Can you do a video on self care for LAcs and how we can be fit and be a good model for our patients? It's simply a reality that people generally don't want to see an overweight/bad skin healthcare provider... Please do a series on ways to be lean/fit/healthy for us since it's hard to take care of ourselves so much when taking care of others. Thanks!

You are nice with good energy. I must say that we shuoldnt needle UB1 with tube. Its need to be insert in with free hand.
@AlyssaDazetLAc7 жыл бұрын
I've always do it with tube. Free hand is too if-y for black eyes.
@guyadania-advance.acupuncture7 жыл бұрын
Its your choice. The tube is to wide for this point tiny location
@guyadania-advance.acupuncture7 жыл бұрын
Also i must say (excuse me for this) that the location you put it is not the exact location.

Thanks for this video Alyssa. I have a question. I plan to needle UB1 and ST1 on a glaucoma patient. Do you retain both of these while the patient rests or is it safer to insert, get some local sensation and remove? Thank you!
@AlyssaDazetLAc5 жыл бұрын
Hey Heidi that’s really dependent upon your comfort level. If you are worried to do that, then perhaps don’t. But if you feel confident doing it, then do. If you are not worried, in control and confident, your patient will feel that way too. But if you’re nervous to leave them in, then your patient will feel nervous too.

Hi. I have a focusing problem with my right eye when I look at close objects. When I put a needle in ub2 point this problem goes away. But as soon as I take the needle out objects start to get blurry again. I've been practicing this for two days. Do you have any suggestions how to achieve a permanent solution? Maybe I should continue doing what I do and the effect will become permanent after time?

That's what I would do! Obviously helping. Just needs more treatment.

Hey Maya, hello in Iraq!! Are you practicing acupuncture there? How is Eastern medicine doing in your country?

How long should the needle stay inside?

Hi Behnaz, Are you an acupuncturist?
@Otakkovix4 жыл бұрын
@@AlyssaDazetLAc Yes, in Germany
@AlyssaDazetLAc4 жыл бұрын
@@Otakkovix great! So then I'd do it according to what we learn as practitioners about needle time based on the patients condition, constitution, age, etc. There's never any one set answer for that.
