Omg…the Thief and the Cobbler. Oh man so…that is quite the story. Richard Williams the animation director of Who Framed Roger Rabbit that was his passion project. He was doing it back in the 60s but gotten fired from it because of the constant mishaps and drama that came with it. He had Vincent Price who played the blue character which Disney used or stole for inspiration for Disney’s Aladdin’s genie. He wanted to basically show how powerful 2D animation was. Unfortunately the only decent one of it was the ReCobbled cut which his students did while he was alive but he passed away a few years back and it’s technically an unfinished project but the way the process was in the project was a slow and painful one and a lot of people didn’t like Richard for it. I know I’m missing some info on it but yeah that’s part of that story.

Id say the best way to learn about The Thief and The Cobbler is to watch some old documentaries from the 60s 70s 80s 90s etc. Persistence of Vision, and ElectricDragons 5 part series, theres alot of misinformation out there about it so be careful

OK first of all I should start off by saying I love this show and I hope it goes on for a very long time. With that being said, I am highly disappointed that with all the nerd knowledge on this panel that two out of three of y’all have only just started watching Blue eyed samurai. Brandon call himself telling people about it and the frenzy has been coming and you haven’t finished the series yet. lol Roxy is the most disappointing. When you finally watch you are going to kick yourself for not watching it sooner

Also, inuyasha. Has a spin off that is about the next generation and it kind of makes you want to rewatch the original if it’s been a while since you’ve seen inuyasha. But it’s about their children and their journey. Similar to Boruto in concept.
