i got this down pretty easily when i did 1a dashless meanwhile the spike jump room took me 4 hours because i didn't know you had to hold grab to spike jump properly

You weren't kidding, this is WAY harder without neutral jumping. I did get up there once (the last headhitter jump) without neutrals but failed the last headhitter because my focus had gone after trying like 200+ times and finally managing to catch the platform. Learned the basic neutral and got the jump after perhaps 5 or 6 tries and (due to being way calmer) made the final headhitters to get the dashless gold. I have no idea how people do it in deathless runs though because with the key maps I have (w to grab arrow keys for directing dashes) neutrals feel super weird.

personally im on controller and use joystick and I prefer to jump while holding up. I find it easier than neutral jumping because I just have to switch from holding up to holding up right

So I know how to neutral jump and I'm playing The Climb level in Spring Collab and I try to neutral jump and no matter what I did I couldn't do it. I was so confused and started doubting my ability so I came to this video. Turns out that somehow neutral jumping was disabled in settings lol.

Hey! Whenever I try to do neutral jumping, Madeline doesn't jump off the wall until I run out of stamina, so I can only do neutral jumps, with no stamina. (I didn't hold any directional buttons, nor grab, I followed the tutorial.) Why was this the case? EDIT: I FIGURED IT OUT. You can't use a keyboard to do no stamina neutral jumps, I plugged in my controller and it worked. That really sucks tho that I can't only use a keyboard :/ EDIT #2: Turns out, you can use a keyboard for this. I had the grab button binded to my jump as well this entire timeeeeeeee >:(

@@monaborghar7612 so when the box on the left side moves, it acts as a boost if you jump when it reaches near the end of its reach. so when u time it and jump as the box gets near the edge, u can get a boost in your jump. Once you reach the limit of your jump, u have to quickly dash up-left and grab the other box on the right. trust me it works.
