So what we learned today is… -Isaac can teleport AND moonwalk -Isaac can produce decades worth of tears by crying only once -Delirium is a good boss (when cheated) -The console command for Fatties is “I’m fat” -Luck is a really boring stat (which is why I never learned it’s use until Repentance) -Isaac can cry and have tears just pop into existence yards away from his face These will be on the test, so write them down!

13:05 I wish they kept this in Rebirth. If some of you didn't know, in flash Isaac, the only item that lowered shot speed was Sacred Heart. Getting 5 or 6 of them made you start shooting backwards. Of course, this would only be possible via breaking the game. I believe Bisnap did a run like this once. Funny, funny times.

0:19 Small correction: Data Miner can actually cause underflows of many of the stats in Isaac, including fire rate. Several times I've had data miner lower my tears so much it went (visibly) to 120.

Glass Ceiling: Break your Limits! Upon Pickup and from then onwards, removes the limitations from attributes. Issac can go above his maximum or below his minimum for all stats, such as tears and movement speed. Basically the opposite of Rock Bottom, stat downs still affect you but you could get like, 7.00 speed or 30 tear rate. But at what cost?

The tears stat is really just the value of the interval between frames where Isaac fires. Once you've reduced it enough for Isaac to be shooting every frame, there's no way to go higher than that (there's no code to make him shoot twice in one frame, for instance)

This is untrue as of Repentance. With the introduction of fractional delayed fire rate the code may create two tears in one frame if needed. There's still a hard limit internally but its not 60 tears in a second like the game runs on.

Inf stats with libra is going to just put every stats to 0, +/-Inf or NaN Depend on what the game does (Inf is the most likely of the 3) (and before someone ask, NaN is for "Not a Number" a special "number" in C++ (and Java) that basicly work only for "float" and "double" values, like BoI stats value, (+/-Inf is only for float and double values too) and that is basicly undefined values (like 0/0, 1 power of Inf, Inf-Inf, Inf*0, etc))

My guess is that the game engine isnt equipped to spawn more than one tear per frame per "spawn point" so one shot per eye per frame would be the hard cap for tears. Could confirm or deny by going frame by frame through the video and tracking the tears

Funnily enough, I managed to get enough range in a game of Afterbirth+ to get my tears in the ceiling by abusing Jera + Blank Card and a range up pill. I had 306 range by the end, and although you could see the tears bouncing up in an invisible box up in the ceiling, they were completely off the ground.

high shotspeed doesnt make your tears invisible, but rather make their starting point (which normally is isaac's face) way forward. You can see this in action in game if you have tractor beam and a high enough shotspeed

using "da rules" you can give yourself many range down pills at the start of the run and they go below the cap, for some reason. I'm not sure if you can get negative, but it does spawn the tears below isaac with a low enough range still.

I once actually got "inf" tear rate, but it was from a busted run when I had more items than I could remember. The only way I could get that high of a rate was epiphoria (is that the one that makes tears go up if you fire in one direction?) exponentially made it grow with it starting at 100+ and growing and growing

120 tears is the true cap. You can easily get this cap by giving yourself Rock Bottom, No. 1, Soy Milk, Tractor Beam and Kidney Stone. After the kidney stone effect you will get 120 tears. Then remove the items that give you the tears ups and keep only the Rock Bottom. also how long would you have to wait for a Pop! tear to fall with infinity range?

I think the reason why brimstone doesn't change based on damage is because there was a way to get infinite damage in vanilla Isaac using brimstone and two other items (I forgot the two other items, the version, and the order) (Yes this was a glitch, but it felt somewhat intentional, with the way nothing stopped working when you had infinite damage)

I encountered a bug in Greedier mode the other day which let me exceed the speed cap using all stats up items, the stat number did not go over 2.00 however, rather I would move at an insane rate while the number didn't change. Thankfully, when going to the next floor the speed "buff" was removed. Thank god the speed cap exists, if it didn't I would get headaches extremely easily.
