You don't have to know how to play any of these fancy guards, but you do have to know how to pass them..thanks.

Here is one of my favorite ways to pass X Guard, as taught by Emily Kwok in the fourth BiggerStronger iPhone app How to Neutralize and Pass the X Guard by Emily Kwok

Jitz is the sport where you really have to earn belts

*shrug* maybe. you would have to escape your hip, sit up, reach and grab the belt with all the weight of a knee ride on your chest. then you would have to place the insteps of your shins in the bends of your opponent's knees and kick forward. in my experience usually people attack my leg first.

Good, but I don't like when you ask how to defend a position and they say "don't get there." It would be like asking what to do if you were to get mugged and told "don't get there."

I love lifting my partners high in the air in a transition to x guard.

That's what they do to you all the time in Taekwondo class huh? I bet they even give out a belt promotion at a discount when you stay a little late after class, eh?
