I became debt free last December 2019.. paid all my mortgage loans and credit card debts. However, before I achieved that, it took me almost 4 yrs of financial discipline and cutting off domestic and international travel, less shopping and entertainment. My worry now is this pandemic. I still maintain the debt free status, 8th month now. I changed my mind in buying a new car due to pandemic. My concern is I have siblings and family relatives who are still indebted. I really like your ideas and how you convey to us... concise and easy to understand. You have this empathy .

Great list!!! I think number 6 is crucial!!! If you don't save $5.00 you'll be demoralized and won't even have $5.00 in your possession. Saving even $10.00 to $25.00 bucks a month into a mutual fund or an index fund is better than some people are doing. At years end, even people on low - income can have $100 or more dollars being invested for their future. Organized people, wealthy or not, pay themselves something first!!!
@graceefetti82426 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this great movie. I earn 500 $ per month and each month my money disappears. I spend 50 $ on food per month and the list goes on. ...... I know i will be rich. I will one day have financial liberty but I didn't know where or how to start saving money. Thanks and remain a blessing to the world.

In the past I made myself very ill (hospitalized with anaemia) by skimping on food, especially meat, which was so expensive! I need to eat fresh red meat, eggs, milk, cheese, butter, very high protein, high fat, unprocessed foods, green vegetables, root vegetables and nuts. These days, I grow my own vegetables and keep chickens,I live on a farm and catch crayfish in the dam as well. Investing in seeds and learning to grow your own leafy green vegetables is a very good way to eat well on a budget. Leafy greens are so nourishing, it's amazing!

I trapped myself into a motorcycle payment because I really wanted it. I found a way to budget it into my monthly income. Well since I paid it off, I kept that monthly payment figured into my budget to pay myself. It was $400 per month. So for the last two years I have been paying myself that amount. I still live the same, but after two years now, I have enough that if I lost my job, I have a couple months back up, I bought a pickup for cash, and even a small boat for fishing. If you are nearing the end of a car payment, you can pay yourself all or just a part of it and it will add up. I pay cash for what I need now, unless it's an emergency like ac quit. But no more new cars, or cycles. The only debt I have today is mortgage and we all have to pay for our place to live, so I am nearly debt free. NO cards. I have one but I don't use it.

$400 per month. The Motorcycle was $18,000.Thus the budget. New Harley Davidson... Yeah Yeah I wanted it, and I am single so there ya go. But paying that off was gratifying because it was so budgeted in, that to this day I pay myself that payment. It's been three years now and I am still budgeting it in.

Daniel, your wisdom is timeless. You are providing information that people really need to hear and this is the perfect forum to reach the masses of young people who need to hear it because they never received this type of instruction from their parents. You are providing the means of escaping a mental slavery that many cannot escape from. You are a true conductor on the underground railroad to freedom. Your smile is as beautiful as mine and reflects the happiness that you have achieved inside.

I was buying burger king, catching Lyft to work, and spending my money on eBay. I stopped eating out, taking my lunch to work, going to work early, and overspending money on eBay. Also I had this association that I would help a lot, and he didn't do the same for me. He didn't call me again, and I forgot about him. Now, I'm saving money and watching where my money goes, and I am learning to value money. I don't have a stable job, but I hustle and I save 100% of it with my financial goals in mind. Also I check my bank account every day and I'm doing better.

Sir, I thank you. In addition to what you prescribe I have found that tithing 10% of my gross income works wonders. I used to tithe 5% and that worked wonders; I have only just started at 10% but expect this will follow the same path. BTW: Be careful who and what you tithe to. A large mainstream church that emphasizes Bible teaching in detail rather than a "social issues" setup is the best. Again, I thank you. :)
