Been playing since the Alpha and I can assure everyone that THIS is the one guide that will make the difference and one could argue the first you should watch even before learning how your character works. One of the biggest complaints i noticed from the SteamFest test was Spikes and how new players got destroyed by them thinking there was just no way to avoid it because "Everyone has to glide eventually". And while that is true, if you practice what's on this guide, you might spend the whole game without gliding, so long as you don't go too deep where you can't help it. And while you practice this, remember that you have powers with extra dashes, flying, or even make literal platforms over the abyss. Great guide chief.

I changed my glide keybind like 2 days ago and it's been so nice not just getting randomly spiked when jumping in fights (being in aus and having 160 ping at best certainly didn't help with accidental gliding). It's made fighting in area's with water way less awful.

I had the pleasure of playing a 3-4 hour session with Yggdrasil the other day, and what a wild ride keeping up with his movement tech. I was playing Elluna and just being challenged to keep up with his Brall map traversal made me such a better player. As an Elluna player I want to get really good at these abyss fights and start taking over in areas where my character has unique advantages, thanks for the video!

Absolutely love this game. Ive never enjoyed any top down, or br games but something about how the game plays is incredibly fun. Looking forward to full release being part of the alpha tests and now beta has been awesome. Never been this early to a game before really hope it succeeds. Random thought but i wonder jow this game would play in a traditional moba game mode im sure they dont have plans for that but it's something i was thinking about

Changing the key for Gliding is like changing the key for Vaulting in FPS. Not a single good player has got both movements on the same key because it can fk up so many things :D

It could have to do with consoles require approval for patches so due to time constraints in such short alpha beta tests it's not worth bothering with that yet. Or they are just doing what league does and not care about consoles 😂

they will be adding controller support eventually , devs have just been on a crazy timeline to get the game to this state over the past couple years so focus has been on core gameplay, mechanics, visuals, fixing bugs, etc. I'm sure controller support is on the docket

great question bro , maybe something on like that bottom row that's comfortable to press under wasd (z, x, c, or v). I think before I moved it to my mouse I had it on C and moved whatever was on C by default to something else and it felt decent

ya Void is an extremely unique character - basically gotta do all this without the dash which is still possible, but I've seen some voids to crazy things with their swap over the abyss

When Void casts his swap, he also hovers horizontally without falling for a bit as long as you don’t hit glide. The swap itself will put you back up to ground level. So you can go close to the bottom and hit shift, stay down there for awhile, and suddenly regain a lot of height.
